Herb-crusted Oven Baked Chicken on a bed of Onions (PHASE 2)
You will need:
- 100g of chicken
- 1 grissini stick
- 1 onion
- Parsley
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2 lemon
- Garlic (optional)
- Foil
How to make it:
- Squeeze some lemon juice on your chicken and season it with salt and pepper. Set aside for a while.
- Crush your grissini stick and place in a small bowl.
- Season the grissini with salt and pepper and add fresh lemon juice. (You may also add finely chopped garlic or onion).
- Chop the parsley finely and add to the bowl.
- Mix the herb-crust well, until finely spread.
- On low heat, half-cook your chicken on a non-stick pan.
- Place the chicken on a piece of foil and place your herb-crust on top. Close the foil, making sure you don’t crush the top too much. Place it in the oven at 350 for 5-10 minutes.
- While the chicken is cooking in the oven, chop your onions into long pieces (or however you desire) and sauté in a non-stick pan until slightly caramelised.
- Place the onion on a plate and the chicken on top. If you have lemon left over, you can squeeze some juice on top for a zesty taste.
Make sure you check if your chicken is cooked! No one wants salmonella.
STOP. and REALLY REALLY think about this. ^ this is a muffin top, a “roll”, a thunder thigh, a “bat wing”, etc. work hard and that 5 pounds will be just the beginning.

Super Slimming (I got it at Wal-Mart) is my favorite. Smooth Move works just as good, but it upsets my stomach. I would do it at least 3 times a week. We tell our clients to do it Sunday-Wednesday-Friday!

Day 12
Today is my 12th day on the diet and im down 14 lbs!!! HOOORAYYY :) I couldnt be any happier with this diet. I just recently had a baby at the end of December and have almost lost all the weight i put on during my pregnancy. I feel great and have a ton of energy! I used to be a huge fan of Dr Pepper and would drin k about 3-4 cans a day, now i can look at it and honestly dont want it at all. I have not exercised while i’ve been on the diet, i usual get my walking in at work. My goal is to lose 25 lbs. I think i can obtain that in 4 weeks. So i will keep moving forward and see what happens!

Day 19
Ever feel like everyone around you is doing everything possible to sabotage your diet? They aren’t really; your resolve is just cracking. That is how I’ve been feeling lately.
After dodging people offering free samples of the latest processed pizza bites and passing up on what looked like a chocolate pie I have to come to accept the grocery store is not my friend.
I came home and found my fiancé baking fish (yay!) and sweet potato fries (nay!). But then, I think back to my glorious scale. The scale that says I’m 20lbs lighter. And the clothes, the clothes that fit looser and I feel better.
Drinking diet’s tea has been a huge help for me this week. The hardest part is remembering to drink it before bed. I don’t seem to remember until after I brushed my teeth then I don’t want to drink it. But I think back to my lovely scale and realize that if I don’t, I may not get the optimum results I know I am capable of.
I only lost .5lb this morning so I will be doing a steak and apple for today. But I have a recipe for you guys that aren’t.
Oriental Ginger Chicken
100 grams Chicken breast
1/4 cup organic chicken broth or water
4 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp lemon or orange zest
1/2 tsp fresh ginger
4 tsp Bragg’s liquid aminos
1 tsp chopped onion
Stevia to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
Cayenne pepper to taste
In a small saucepan, sauté chicken in a little lemon juice and water until slightly browned.
Add spices, ginger, salt, lemon and stevia.
Add Bragg’s liquid aminos and cook thoroughly.
Deglaze the pan periodically by adding a little water.
Serve hot and garnish with lemon or orange slices.
Stir Fry Spinach
Allowed fresh spinach
Salt and Pepper to taste
In small pan, coat a little MCT oil and add spinach with salt and pepper.
Serve
